My ideal job

The job I most want to do is to be a penguin breeder. Because I think the penguin is the cutest animal in the world. In the summer vacation, I went to the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MARINE BIOLOGY AND AQUARIUM in Pingtung. I saw that the breeder could interact with the penguin at a close distance and could touch the penguin. I really envy it. Therefore, I checked the salary of this job online, but found that it was not as high as I imagined. I feel a little disappointed.
After that, I often wonder how long the distance between the ideals and dreams. After all, this is the real world. There is no way that everything goes smoothly as I wish. In the process of growing up, I will slowly accept the facts. Perhaps, I will never become a professional basketball player, or an astronaut, or a president, or a rock star. Maybe I have no ability, motivation, or skill to turn my dreams into reality. Being mature, part of what we mean is that we are becoming more aware of ourselves, including our strengths and our own limits, to discover how to present our talents in a real world.
However, once I accept my previous dreams may not be able to achieve at last. Even if I lose the promotion I had hoped for, the important job title, or the substantial salary increase, I can still find the meaning, purpose, satisfaction, and even in my life. It is happiness and joy. When people are still on the way, they will find that there are still many ways to make the work more satisfying and more meaningful. Of course, if we want to do this, we must abandon the previous negation and anger and accept the current state of affairs. Perhaps it can't be a superstar that once dreamed of becoming a great star, but through his adaptability, persistence, self-conscious experimentation, and constant trial and error, he will eventually find the best thing for everyone.
I think your ideal job that you've mentioned in the beginning is pretty cute. I had also imagined to be a panda breeder before because they are adorable to me!!! However, I agree with you that there is a big gap between reality and imagination. We're hard to choose a job that is perfect. That's exactly why students will consider their future job and feel confused about it.

I agree with you that "There is no way that everything goes smoothly as I wish"... There are lots of unwilling things happening all the time and we simply can't change the fact that the world is completely not controlled by our minds.
